Go for the goop and stay for the burger! Perfectly prepared and proportioned burgers with their own secret sauce called goop. Yum! A must have if you are passing through. Another small town favorite.

The burger house is one of those dying breeds that you find in a small town where the locals truly support it and it truly has a local flair and taste. These places were the backbone of America at one time and unfortunately a dying breed.

I really like this little place. It reminds me of a place I grew up with and now that I'm in garrard county, it's nice to have something like this to enjoy. It's not fancy but their burgers are good and so are their shakes! I recommend their peanut butter shake. The strawberry is also a favorite. If your down this way, you won't find much better on this stretch of 27.

This place is truly a gem in the small town of Lancaster. The food is wonderfully priced, and always tasty. Today I decided to try something new, the pimento cheese box. The pimento cheese was delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the shredded lettuce they put on the sandwich. (the menu doesn't specify that it comes with lettuce, or I would have opted out) the coleslaw was delicious, (as usual) and the fries were hot and fresh. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

So we roll up, music blasting, the dust settles, and we step out. Immediately, I. Was. TRIGGERED! Only women work at this establishment. As a man, I felt very discriminated against. The food seems to be over priced. The only food below $2 was a cup of cole slaw, and the girl at the counter. The food, even though a tad over priced, was ok. I do have another complaint as well. My friend was being sexually harassed by one of the workers. (He has a girlfriend already). Also, when our food was ready they aggressively banged on the window and it startled us all. It caused my PTSD to flare up. I almost pulled out my pepper spray and sprayed them. We saw some of the workers looking at our friend through the window and were all very disturbed. The only reason why this doesn't have 1 star is because the food was actually not too bad. Be ready to be harassed in some way if you come to this establishment.
